Yellow Jackets Men Compete in the Mid-February Meet
BEREA, Ohio – The Baldwin Wallace University men's indoor track and field team competed at the annual Mid-February Meet on the Harrison Dillard Track inside the Lou Higgins Center Fieldhouse. This was the first indoor meet of the season for the Yellow Jackets.
 
The BW men scored 10 points to finish 13th out of 15 teams.
 
 The Yellow Jacket men were led by freshmen jumpers Jonathon Spilker (Solon) and TJ Levitsky (Parma) who placed fifth and sixth in the pole vault event clearing heights of 12-11.50 and 11-05.75, respectively.
 
In running events for the men, sophomore runner Aaron Long (Mishawaka, Ind. /Penn) finished in place sixth in the 1000 meter run with a time of 2:48.09.
 
The Yellow Jacket track and field teams are back in action on Saturday, February 15 when they travel to Westerville to compete at the All-Ohio Championship Meet hosted by Otterbein University at 12:00 p.m.  The next home meet is the Greater Cleveland Championships on February 21 on the Harrison Dillard Track at 5 p.m.
