Today's Contest
Today is the seventh game of the 2018 season and the third road contest for the Baldwin Wallace University football team as it travels to Wilmington for an Ohio Athletic Conference game against Wilmington College.  BW defeated Muskingum University by a final score of 44-7 last Saturday in its Hall of Fame game. Wilmington lost its fifth OAC game of the season with a 63-21 defeat to Marietta College last Saturday. 

The Series
BW and Wilmington have met 19 times on the gridiron with the Yellow Jackets holding an 16-3 series lead, including night straight victories. During the nine game winning streak, BW has outscored the Quakers, 387-117. The series began in 1922 with Wilmington defeating the Yellow Jackets, 16-7, in Berea. The last Wilmington win came in 2008 when it beat the Yellow Jackets, 27-21, in Wilmington.

BW Head Coach Jim Hilvert 
Hilvert is in his second season at BW and has a record of 11-5 and an OAC slate of 9-5. He is 78-24 in his 10th overall season and is 2-0 against Wilmington.

Wilmington Head Coach Bryan Moore: 
Moore is in his second season at Wilmington and has a record of 3-13 and an OAC mark of 1-13.  He is 0-1 vs. Baldwin Wallace. 

Last Game vs. Wilmington -- Oct. 7, 2017
BW scored 38 points on 278 yards passing, 239 yards rushing and 517  total yards.  Wilmington scored 21 points on 217 yards passing, 158 yards rushing and 375 total yards.  

Scouting the Yellow Jackets
In week six of the season, BW scored 44 points on 228 yards passing, 160 yards rushing and 397 total yards.  Muskingum scored seven points on 130 yards passing, 68 yards rushing and 198 total yards.

BW LeadersOffensively, senior quarterback Jake Hudson (East Lake, Fla.) has completed 105 of 162 passes for 1146 yards with 13 touchdowns and three interceptions.  Sophomore running back Jon Murray, Jr. (Cincinnati/Withrow) leads the ground attack with 456 yards on 77 carries with six touchdowns. Senior wide receiver Jordan Leverette (Cleveland/John Adams) tops the receiving corps with 21 catches for 426 yards and three touchdowns. Defensively, junior linebacker Josh Liberati (Lisbon/David Anderson) tops the squad with 33 tackles. Senior defensive end Wezlee Spence (North Canton/Hoover) is second with 28 stops but leads the team with 10.5 tackles for loss and 7.5 quarterback sacks.

Scouting the Quakers
In week six of the season, Wilmington scored 21 points on 253 yards passing, 112 yards rushing and 365 total yards.  Marietta scored 63 points on 270 yards passing, 235 yards rushing and 505 total yards.

Wilmington Leaders
Offensively, sophomore quarterback Kyle Barrett has completed 105 of 157 passes for 1357 yards with 12 touchdowns and seven interceptions.   Freshman running back DJ Chambers leads the ground attack with 238 yards on 51 carries with two touchdowns.  Freshman wide receiver Ace Taylor leads the receiving corps with 24 catches for 303 yards.  Defensively, sophomore defensive back Tre'Quez Parks tops the team with 45 tackles. Freshman linebacker Royon Washington is second with 37 stops and senior defensive lineman Kyle Ackley is third with 33 tackles.
