BEREA, Ohio – Baldwin Wallace University Head Football Coach Jim Hilvert announced that Dean Cullison has joined his staff as the offensive line coach and began his duties on February 25.

"We are very excited to have Dean part of the BW Football Family," stated Hilvert.  "He is a great fit for BW."

Cullison comes to BW after being named the offensive line coach at NCAA Division II Malone University in January 2019 but the program was discontinued on February 1, 2019.  Before Malone, he served as a graduate assistant coach and video coordinator at his collegiate alma mater NCAA Division II Ohio Dominican University

"I am excited about the opportunity to join the Baldwin Wallace program," stated Cullison.  "Being born and raised in Ohio I take pride in joining such a tradition rich program that has been successful in recent years, and I look forward to working with our student-athletes to excel both on and off the field. I'm grateful to Coach Hilvert for giving me this opportunity and I'm excited to work with an elite group of coaches. I fell in love with the university on my visit and my goal is to contribute to the ongoing success of the football program. I'm ready to get to work."

Prior to Ohio Dominican, he served as a varsity offensive line and assistant defensive line coach at Upper Arlington High School for three seasons (2014-16) and one season at his high school alma mater of Bishop Ready High School (2013).

Cullison earned a Bachelor of Science in sport management from Ohio Dominican in 2013 and a Master of Science in sport management from Ohio Dominican in 2018.  As an undergraduate, he was a three-year letterwinner on the Panther offensive line and was a Dean's List student.

BW opens the 2019 campaign on Saturday, September 7 when it travels to Alma, Michigan for its only non-conference game of the season against Alma College.
