Tonight's Game
Tonight is the first road game of the 2018 season, the third night game in the first four games and the third Ohio Athletic Conference game for the Baldwin Wallace University football team.  The Yellow Jackets dropped their first OAC game last Saturday with a 56-21 loss to No.1-nationally ranked University of Mount Union.  Heidelberg held off Capital University by a final score of 44-40 last Saturday night in Bexley.

Series Notes 
BW has faced Heidelberg more times on the gridiron than any other opponent as the teams have played 71 games.  The Yellow Jackets hold an 47-24 all-time series lead.  The two teams have split the last four games with the home team picking up the victory. The series began in 1897 when BW won by a final score of 10-0 in Berea.

BW Head Coach Jim Hilvert
Hilvert is in his second season at BW and has a record of 8-5 and OAC slate of 6-5. He is 75-24 in his 10th overall season and is 0-1 against Heidelberg. 

Heidelberg Head Coach Scott Donaldson: 
Donaldson is in his third  season at Heidelberg and has an overall record of 15-10  and an OAC mark of 13-6.  He is 1-1 vs. Baldwin Wallace.

Last Meeting vs. Heidelberg -- November 4, 2017: 
BW scored 27 points on 225 yards rushing, 157  yards passing and 382  total yards for the Seniors' Day victory.  Heidelberg scored 10 points on 232 yards rushing, 141 yards passing and 373 total yards. 

Scouting the Yellow Jackets
In week three of the season, BW scored 21 points on 215 yards passing, 146  yards rushing and 361 total yards.  Mount Union scored 56  points on 428 yards passing, 158 yards rushing and 586 total yards.  

BW Leaders
Offensively, senior quarterback Jake Hudson (East Lake, Fla.) has completed 56 of 86 passes for 723 yards with seven touchdowns and one interception.  Sophomore running back Jon Murray, Jr. (Cincinnati/Withrow) leads the ground attack with 196 yards on 32 carries with a long of 34 yards. Senior wider receiver Chad Steinwachs (Buffalo, N.Y./Williamsville East) tops the receiving corps with 13 catches for 133 yards and two touchdowns. Junior wideout Deion Greer (Toledo/Toledo Central Catholic) is second with 12 catches for 155 yards. Defensively, junior linebacker Josh Liberati (Lisbon/David Anderson) tops the team with 18 tackles. Senior defensive end Wezlee Spence (North Canton/Hoover) is second with 17 tackles but leads the squad with 3.5 tackles for loss and 2.5 quarterback sacks and is tied for team lead with three quarterback hurries.

Scouting the Student Princes
In week two of the season, Heidelberg scored 44 points on 314 passing yards, 179 rushing yards and 493 total yards. Capital scored 40 points on 349 passing yards,111 rushing yards and 460 total yards. 

Heidelberg Leaders
Offensively, senior quarterback Trace Reynolds leads the aerial assault and the ground attack.  Reynolds has completed 35 of 56 passes for 492 yards with five touchdowns and two interceptions.  He has rushed for 270 yards on 34 carries with two touchdowns. Senior wide receiver Keivon Belcher is Reynolds top target with 14 catches for 183 yards and one touchdown. Defensively,freshman linebacker Zach Blackston tops the team with 27 tackles and 4.5 sacks.  Sophomore defensive lineman Collin Pecoraro is second with 15 stops.
