BEREA, Ohio – In the final national polls of the regular season, the Baldwin Wallace University football team has been ranked in both the American Football Coaches Association (AFCA) Division III and D3football.com polls.

BW (8-1, 7-1 OAC) jumped three spots in the AFCA poll from 24 to 21 and was ranked for the first time this season in the D3football poll at 25.

The Yellow Jackets are one of three Ohio Athletic Conference members to be ranked as they join the University of Mount Union (#1 AFCA and D3football) and crosstown rival John Carroll University (#8 D3football and #10 AFCA) in the polls.

BW closes the 2018 regular season when it travels to University Heights for an OAC showdown with a second-place conference finish and potential playoff berth on the line against John Carroll on Wasmer Field inside Don Shula Stadium.  The Yellow Jackets and Blue Streaks will also battle in the 30th Annual Cuyahoga Gold Bowl Game.
