Leverette Named to D3football.com All-North Region Team

MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. – Baldwin Wallace University senior wide receiver and kick return specialist Jordan Leverette (Cleveland/John Adams) has been named to the D3football.com All-North Region Team.

Leverette earns his first all-region selection after being selected to the third-team as a return specialist. Earlier this fall, he garnered his first All-Ohio Athletic Conference accolade as he was named to the first-team as a specialist.  Leverette led OAC with 16 kickoffs and was fourth in the league with a career-high 416 return yards.  He kicked off the 2018 season in exciting fashion as he took the opening kickoff back a school-record and Finnie Stadium-record 100-yards for the touchdown.  Leverette led the team in all-purpose yards with 1,096, was eighth in the OAC and second on the squad with a career-best 658 receiving yards, tied for third on the team with a career-high four receiving touchdowns and was fourth on the squad with a career-best 33 receptions.  For his career, Leverette appeared in 30 games and has caught 60 passes for 1,128 yards with eight touchdowns.   He returned 30 kickoffs for 1,037 yards with two touchdowns.   Leverette rushed for 109 yards on 17 carries. 

BW finished the 2018 campaign with an overall record of 8-2 and third place finish in the OAC with a mark of 7-2.   The Yellow Jackets open the 2019 season on Saturday, September 7 when they travel to Alma, Michigan for their lone non-conference game against Alma College.
