Garrett Mack Joins Football Staff

BEREA, Ohio- Garrett Mack '13 joins the Baldwin Wallace Yellow Jackets football program as the strength and conditioning and assistant wide receivers coach.

Mack, who received a Bachelor of Science in Exercise science, returns to his alma mater after one season coaching the defensive line and linebackers at Oberlin College. With his help, his student-athletes accumulated 21 sacks, five interceptions and 10 pass breakups throughout the 2017 season.

Prior to Oberlin College, Mack gained high school coaching experience across northeast Ohio. He served as the head coach at Oberlin high school for the 2016 season and made other stops at Fairview Park and Holy Name along the way. His various roles have included defensive coordinator, strength and conditioning coach, linebackers coach and defensive backs coach. As a senior in 2013, Mack was a student assistant for the BW coaching staff.

Mack, a Brunswick, Ohio native, attended Brunswick High School and was a member of their football program.
