LOUISVILLE, Ky. – The No. 5 nationally ranked Baldwin Wallace University men's wrestling team placed fifth at the National Wrestling Coaches Association (NWCA) National Duals at the Kentucky Expo Center.

BW (11-2) placed in the top 10 for the sixth straight year, including its fifth time with a fifth-place finish. 

The Yellow Jackets defeated the University of Dubuque (Iowa) by a final score of 25-13, defeated No. 9 nationally ranked University of Wisconsin at Whitewater by a final score of 17-16, fell to No. 1 nationally ranked and defending NCAA Division III Champion Wartburg (Iowa) College by a final score of 24-15, defeated No. 23 nationally ranked Luther (Iowa) College by a final score of 28-19, defeated No. 7 nationally ranked North Central (Ill.) College by a final score of 25-18 and defeated No. 10 nationally ranked Loras (Iowa) College by a final score of 23-21.

BW is back in action on Saturday, January 14 when it travels to North Manchester, Indiana to compete in the annual Spartan Mat Classic hosted by Manchester University at 9 a.m.  The Yellow Jackets return home and to OAC action on Tuesday, January 17 when it hosts a dual match against Otterbein University in the Upsprung Gymnasium inside the Lou Higgins Center at 7 p.m.
