No. 12 Men's Wrestling Finishes Fifth at Season Opening Ithaca (N.Y.) Invitational

ITHACA, N.Y. – The No. 12 nationally-ranked Baldwin Wallace wrestling team finished fifth at the season opening Ithaca College Invitational inside the Athletics and Events Center.

BW, who was fifth of 12 teams, had five top five finishers, including two individual champions and one runner-up.

Junior All-Central Region performer and No. 9 nationally ranked 133-pounder Jaden Hinton (Glassboro, N.J.) – First Place

  • Won a 13-3 major decision over Brayan Mendez-Membreno of Springfield (Mass.)

Junior All-American 157-pounder Michael Petrella (Reynoldsburg/Bishop Hartley), who is ranked No. 1 at 149 pounds – First Place
