BEREA, OHIO --  Junior two-time All-Ohio Athletic Conference golfer Miranda Cunningham (Dayton/Dayton Christian) has been selected as the OAC Women's Golfer-of-the-Week for her efforts in leading the Yellow Jackets to the team title at the College of Wooster Fall Invitational last weekend (October 6-7).  It was the second straight team title for the BW after it won the Cardinal-Crusader Invitaional hosted by Otterbein and Capital on September 29-30.

Cunningham, who now has two career weekly OAC awards, garnered the honor after firing a career-low 78 on the first day and then following it with an 82 in the second round for a 160-stroke total to finish as the invitational runner-up.  This fall, she has appeared in four tournaments and has an 84.63 stroke average.

A year ago, Cunningham earned her first OAC weekly honor and first career medalist honor as the top individual at the Heidelberg University Fall Invitational.  She and teammate Emilee Woolf (Ravenna) finished the tournament as the top individuals but the two would face off in a playoff where Cunningham came out the winner.

The Yellow Jackets conclude the fall portion of their schedule this coming weekend (October 13-14) when they travel to Springfield to compete in the Clash at the Clouse hosted by Wittenberg University.
