HARROD, OHIO – CAPITAL ONE Academic All-American and All-Ohio Athletic Conference senior Brooke Hamilton (Cleveland/St. Joseph Academy) fired a team-best 126 strokes as the defending OAC champion Baldwin Wallace University women's golf team ended its 2012-13 campaign by finishing second at the 27-hole Ohio Northern University Invitational at the Colonial Hills Golf Club. BW totalled 517 strokes on the par-108 and 8,675-yard layout and finished one stroke behind tournament champion Otterbein University.
In addition to Hamilton, who placed second overall, All-OAC junior Rebecca Jones (Hilliard/Darby) totalled 127 strokes. All-OAC junior Emilee Woolf (Ravenna) and All-OAC, Academic All-OAC and CAPITAL ONE Academic All-District 7 senior Rebecca Kapusta (Independence) each carded 132. All-OAC junior Miranda Cunningham (Dayton/Dayton Christian) rounded out the starting five by totalling 135 strokes.
Competing individually, freshman Laura Vidmar (Willoughby/South) finished the day with a score of 145, freshman Sabre Adkins (Dublin/ Coffman) tallied 147 strokes, and senior Sarah Terrill (Cuyahoga Falls/ Cuyahoga Valley Christian Academy) shot a 99.
The Yellow Jackets expect to return five lettermen for the 2013-14 season.
