BW Women's Golf Team Finishes 7th at John Carroll Invitational

BEREA, OHIO -- The Baldwin Wallace University women's golf team finished seventh of nine teams after the final day (Sunday, September 20, 2009) of the two-day and 36-hole John Carroll University Fall Invitational Tournament at the Fowlers Mill Golf Club in Chesterland, Ohio.


The Yellow Jackets carded a second-round 412 and finished at 816 for the tournament.

Individually on day two, freshman Brooke Hamilton (Cleveland/ St. Joseph Academy) shot a 95 to finish at 197 for the tournament. Freshman Rebecca Kapusta (Independence) shot 100 on day two and tied with Hamilton for 24th place overall.

Also on day two, junior Sam Migalski (Manahawkin, N.J. (Southern Regional) shot 103, junior Nicole Carlone (Canton/ St. Thomas Aquinas) shot 104, freshman Emily Eighmy (Erie, Pa./ Villa) Maria Academy) shot 113, freshman Sarah Terrill (Cuyahoga Falls/ Cuyahoga Valley Christian Academy) shot 114 and sophomore Caci Lewandowski (Sharon Center/ Medina Highland) shot 118.

The Yellow Jackets are right back in action tomorrow when they compete at the one-day and 18-hole Muskingum College Invitational at Jaycees G.C. in Zanesville.
