Price Set School Record with NCAA Qualifying Scores at OWU Pentathlon

BEREA, OHIO -- Baldwin Wallace University indoor track and field senior Steve Price (North Olmsted) broke a school record and hit NCAA provisional qualifying marks while competing at the Ohio Wesleyan University pentathlon today (Saturday, February 20, 2010) in Delaware.

Price scored 3,404 points and placed second. He is now provisionally qualified for nationals with the 14th best score in the nation.

The Yellow Jackets are back in action this Friday and Saturday, February 26-27, at the Ohio Athletic Conference Championship Meet hosted by Marietta College at the Dyson Baudo Recreation Center in Marietta. Action begins at 2:00 p.m. on Friday and 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. Visit the OAC Championship Website for more details.
