Baldwin Wallace Men's Indoor Track and Field Teams Compete at the BW Mid-February Meet

BEREA, OHIO -- The Baldwin Wallace University men's indoor track and field teams competed at the BW Mid-February Meet tonight (Friday, February 12, 2010) on the Harrison Dillard Track in the Lou Higgins Recreation Center.  The meet was unscored.

Individually for the men, sophomore Miles Moore (Gettysburg, Pa./Delone Catholic) won the shot put with a throw of 45 feet, 10 inches. Freshman Mitchell Supan (Medina/Walsh Jesuit) followed Moore in the shot put with a fifth-place throw of 44'5.50".

In the running events, sophomore Drew Beck (Canandaigua, N.Y./Canandaigua Academy) was second in the 1,000 meter run with a time of 2:38.34.

The BW indoor track and field teams will be back in action tomorrow, Saturday, February 13, when they travel to Westerville, Ohio to compete in the All-Ohio Meet hosted by Otterbein College at 11:00 a.m. In addition, BW hosts the Greater Cleveland Championship Meet next Friday at 5:00 p.m.
