BW Men Fourth at 2009 OAC Indoor Track Championship Meet

BEREA, OHIO -- The Baldwin Wallace University men's track and field team were fourth at the 2009 Ohio Athletic Conference Indoor Track and Field Championships at Capital University in Columbus, Ohio.

The Yellow Jacket men scored 68.5 points and placed fourth of 10 schools.

Leading the way for the men, were junior decathlete Steve Price (North Olmsted) and senior distance ace Nate Bowen (Fremont/ Ross)Price twice earned All-OAC honors as he placed second in the long jump on Friday with a leap of 22' 9.25" and placed third in the triple jump on Saturday with a leap of 43'10". He also placed ninth in the high jump with a leap of 6'0". Senior Nate Bowen (Fremont/ Ross), who ran on the All-OAC and third place distance medley relay team on Friday, was third in the 1-mile with a time of 4:22.27 and fifth in the 1000 meters in 2:37.96.
