CHICAGO, Ill. - Freshman All-Ohio Athletic Conference diver Jason Heisler (Saline, Mich. / Saline) placed 27th in the three-meter diving and 21st in the 1-meter events at the NCAA Division III Diving Regional Championships hosted by The University of Chicago in the Myers-McLoraine Pool.
The top eight divers in each event qualified for the NCAA Division III Diving National Championships.
Heisler finished 27th of 32 divers in the 3-meter and 21st of 33 divers in the 1-meter. He qualified for the regional after being the running up at the OAC Championship in the 1-meter with a career-best and NCAA Division III B cut total points of 490.55 and the 3-meter with a career-best and NCAA Division III B cut total points of 454.25.
In the 3-meter competition of Friday, Heisler scored 370.95 points
In the 1-meter competition on Saturday, he scored 383.95 points.
