BW Swim Team Loses to CWRU

BEREA, OHIO – The Baldwin Wallace University men's swimming and diving team ended its dual meet season today with a loss to Cleveland cross-town rival Case Western Reserve University in the BW Natatorium in the Lou Higgins Center.

The Yellow Jacket men beat the Spartan men, 153-72. With its loss, the BW men end the dual meet season at 3-9 overall.

The Yellow Jacket men were led by the 200-yard freestyle relay team consisting of senior Matt Zych (Des Plaines, Ill./Maine West), senior Nathan Brown (Columbia Station/ Olmsted Falls), senior David Blackett (Tallmadge), senior Tony Tijerina (Defiance/Napoleon). The team finished first with a time of 1:43.13.

The Yellow Jackets return to action on February 8-10 when they travel to Columbus to compete at The Ohio State University Invitational Meet.
