BW Complete Day Two of The Ohio State Invitational Meet

COLUMBUS, OHIO – The Baldwin Wallace University men's swimming and diving team competed on its second day of The Ohio State University Invitational Meet in Columbus, Ohio today at the McCorkle Aquatic Pavilion.

BW men end the dual meet season at 3-9 overall. 

The Yellow Jacket men were led by their 400-yard relay team and their 200-yard medley team as they both finished first. The 400-yard relay team consisted of freshman Nathan Onchuck (Darien, Ill. / Hinsdale South),  freshman Charlie Peppers (Circleville), senior Tony Tijerina (Defiance / Napoleon) and freshman Justin Allison (Napoleon) finished in a time of 3:25.03. The 200-yard medley relay team consisted of Peppers, sophomore Bryan Gerber (Sagamore Hills / Nordonia),  Onchuck, and Allison who finished in a time of 1:42.91.

In addition to the relay teams, junior Patrick Donohoe (Columbus / Bishop Watterson) placed fifth in the 200-yard butterfly finishing in a time of 2:06.84. Gerber placed seventh and eight in the 200-yard individual medley and the 200-yard breaststroke with times of 2:08.04 and 2:16.65 respectively. Junior Bryan Hitch II (Lakewood) finished ninth overall in the 200-yard breaststroke with a time of  2:28.87.

This was their final meet of the season.
