BW Men's Swim Team Falls to Ohio Northern

ADA, OHIO – The Baldwin Wallace University men's  swimming and diving team was defeated today in an Ohio Athletic Conference dual meet by Ohio Northern University in the ONU Sports Center.  It was the final away dual meet of the season for the Yellow Jackets.

The Polar Bear men beat the Yellow Jacket men, 231-44.  With its loss, the Yellow Jacket men drop to 2-8 overall and 2-3 against OAC competition.

The BW men were led by sophomore Bryan Gerber (Sagamore Hills / Nordonia) who finished second overall in the 200-yard breaststroke with a time of 2:19.03.

The Yellow Jackets return to action on Saturday, January 26 versus OAC and Cleveland cross-town rival John Carroll University in the BW Natatorium in the Lou Higgins Center at 1:00 p.m.  The final dual meet on the season occurs on Friday, February 1 when BW hosts cross-town and non-league rival Case Western Reserve University in the BW Natatorium for a 6:00 p.m. Seniors' and Parents' Night Meet.
