BALDWIN WALLACE ATHLETICS INFORMATION: As a senior in 2012-13, David will compete in his fourth season of swimming. He has earned three varsity letters.
ACADEMIC HONORS: As a junior in 2011-2012, David ia a Chi Alpha Sigma inductee at BW.
GENERAL SWIMMING AND DIVING INFORMATION: David is off to a solid swimming career thus far. David's personal bests throughout his first three seasons are: a time of 25.73 in the 50-meter freestyle, a 58.10 in the 100-meter freestyle, a 2:04.84 in the 200-meter freestyle, a 13:08.96 in the 1000-meter freestyle, 30.07 in the 50-meter backstroke, 1:03.03 in the 100-meter backstroke, a 2:18.41 in the 200-meter backstroke, a 2:21.59 in the 200 IM, and a time of 1:19.68 in the 100-meter breaststroke.
As a freshman in 2009-10, David competed in his first season of swimming and earned his first varsity letter as a freshman. He posted season-best times in the 50-yard freestyle (28.45), 100 free (1:02.59), 200 free (2:15.06), 1000 free (13:08.96), 50 back (32.66), 100 back (1:05.16), 200 back (2:21.66) and 200 IM (2:21.59).
As a sophomore in 2010-11, David competed in his second season of swimming.David posted three personal best times in the 100 backstroke with a time of 31.31, also in the 100 backstroke with a time of 1:03.03 and finally in the 200 backstoke at 2:18.41.
As a junior in 2011-12, David competed in his third season of swimming, and posted four personal best times including the 50-yard freestyle (25.73), the 100-yard freestyle (58.10), the 200-yard freestyle (2:04.84), and the 100-yard breaststroke (1:19.68).
As a senior in 2012-13, David will compete in his fourth seaspon of swimming and will look to earn his fourth varsity letter.
HOMETOWN & HIGH SCHOOL INFORMATION: David Blackett grew up in Tallmadge, Ohio and graduated from Tallmadge High School. David competed in both soccer and swimming.
