BW Swimming & Diving Teams Swept by Limestone (S.C.) in Cocoa Beach, Fla.

BEREA, OHIO -- The Baldwin Wallace University men's and women's swimming and diving teams lost to Limestone (S.C.) College this evening (Friday, January 8) in Cocoa Beach, Florida during their annual two-week trip to the "Sunshine State." The Yellow Jacket men fell 82.5 to 46.5 and the women lost 103 to 25.

The Yellow Jackets return home on Sunday and next compete on Friday, January 15 at Cleveland cross-town rival Case Western Reserve University at 6:00 p.m. in University Circle.

For the men, junior Matt Diamond (Ashtabula/ Lakeside) won the 50-meter butterfly in 29.62 and junior Roman Koval (Parma/ Padua Franciscan) was second in the 50m breaststroke at 33.97.

For the women, sophomore Katie Cvelbar (South Euclid/ Regina) was second in the 50m fly with a time of 36.50 and junior Lauren Schaefer (Westlake) was second in the 50 freestyle at 30.41.
