Men’s Basketball Tabbed Sixth in OAC Coaches Preseason Poll

WESTERVILLE, Ohio – The Baldwin Wallace University men's basketball has been selected to finish sixth in the Ohio Athletic Conference Coaches Preseason Poll. 

BW was selected sixth after receiving 41 points. The University of Mount Union was selected first with 77 points and five first place votes. Marietta College was right behind them in second with 74 points and four first place votes. Finishing out the top three is John Carroll University with 61 points and one first place vote. Heidelberg University and Otterbein University round out the top five. 

The Yellow Jackets look to return to the OAC Tournament after making it to the OAC Semifinals a season ago. The Yellow Jackets finished fifth in the conference with an overall record of 15-10 and a 9-7 mark in the OAC.

BW returns to the court on Thursday, November 10 for its second and final exhibition game against NCAA Division I opponenent Kent State University. The Yellow Jackets open the regular season on Saturday, November 12 when they host non-conference foe Hiram College in the Ursprung Gymnasium inside the Lou Higgins Center.
