Mazzeo and Snyder Selected to Men’s Basketball All-Ohio Athletic Conference Team

WESTERVILLE, Ohio – Senior Academic All-Ohio Athletic Conference guards Anthony Mazzeo (Canton/Massillon Jackson) and Jake Snyder (Stow/Archbishop Hoban) has been tabbed to the men's basketball All-Ohio Athletic Conference team. 

Mazzeo earns his second consecutive first team All-OAC selection after a year in which he posted 469 points while shooting 44.6% from the field. He grabbed 132 rebounds, dished out 52 assists, picked up 20 steals and blocked six shots. He averaged an OAC leading 18.8 points, 4.3 total rebounds, 2.1 assists, 0.8 steals and 0.2 blocks per game. 

In his career, Mazzeo is 19th on the all-time scoring leaderboard with 1,319 points. He has grabbed 361 rebounds, picked up 161 assists, registered 59 steals and blocked 16 shots. Off the court, he is a two-time Academic All-OAC performer, a National Association of Basketball Coaches Honors Court selection, a Dean's List student, Jacket Scholar and a member of the Chi Alpha Sigma Honor Society.

Snyder also earns his second consecutive All-OAC honorable mention selection after scoring 288 points on 40% shooting. He grabbed 87 rebounds and dished out a team leading 110 assists. On the defensive end, he picked up 26 steals and blocked seven shots. He averaged 12.0 points, 3.6 total rebounds, 4.6 assists, 1.1 steals and 0.3 blocks per game.

For his career, Snyder has scored 813 points, grabbed 267 boards, dished out 224 assists, collected 76 steals and blocked 19 shots. Off the court, he is an Academic All-OAC performer, a National Association of Basketball Coaches Honors Court Selection, a Dean's List student, Jacket Scholar and a member of the Chi Alpha Sigma Honor Society.

BW finished the season with a 12-13 overall record and an 8-10 mark in the OAC.
