BEREA, OHIO -- Baldwin-Wallace College freshman Pat Havens (Twinsburg) has been named as the Ohio Athletic Conference Pitcher of the Week for his performance on the mound last week.

Havens picked up his first career victory and complete-game in a 9-1 Yellow Jacket win versus Oberlin College on Thursday, April 22. In nine innings of work, Havens allowed one earned run on eight hits and struck out six without walking a batter.

For the season, Havens is 1-2 with a 4.11 earned run average and nine strikeouts in 15 and one-third innings pitched.

The Yellow Jackets, 10-18-1 overall and 4-7-1 in the OAC, are back in action tomorrow (Tuesday, April 27) at rival Otterbein College for a 1:00 p.m. doubleheader in Westerville.

B-W next plays at home on Thursday, April 29 when it hosts non-league foe Notre Dame College (of Ohio) in a varsity and junior varsity doubleheader at 2:00 p.m.

Next Saturday, May 1, B-W will host Muskingum College at 1:00 p.m. in an OAC twinbill that is both B-W Baseball Alumni Day and Bob Fisher Recognition Day.
