CWRU scored its lone run in the top of the fourth inning to take a 1-0 lead. It was short-lived, however, as B-W tallied six runs in the bottom of the fourth to take a commanding, 6-1, lead. The Yellow Jackets then scored twice in the sixth and once in the eighth to win for the fourth time in the last five games and improve to 3-0 against non-Ohio Athletic Conference opponents up north.

In addition, Rollins scored twice and Kreisher had two runs batted-in to increased his OAC-leading total to a career-high 30 this season.

On the mound, junior righthanded pitcher Scott Luthman (Celina) started and worked seven innings to win his third game this season against no losses. He allowed six hits, one earned run, struck out two and did not walk a batter. He was followed to the mound in the eighth by freshman Josh Scott (Strongsville) and junior Brian Boveington (Stow/ Stow-Munroe Falls) in the ninth as each tossed a scoreless frame.

Following Thursday's game versus Wooster, the Yellow Jackets next play on Saturday, April 4 when they travel to Ada to play OAC-rival Ohio Northern University in a doubleheader. The first game begins at 1:00 p.m.
