BEREA, Ohio -- Baldwin Wallace University junior Kyle Patterson (Wooster/Triway) and sophomores Peter Harris (Akron/Revere) and Doug Ganim (Westerville/Olentangy Orange) were named to the 2014 All-Ohio Athletic Conference men's tennis team.
Patterson, who carries a 3.774 grade point average in criminal justice, was selected to the first-team for the first time and it marked his third overall All-OAC selection. He was a second-team choice in both 2012 and 2013. This season, Patterson had a 14-8 mark at No.1 singles, including a 12-4 mark in dual matches. He also combined with senior Brad Minrovic (Akron/ Ellet) to compile a 20-6 doubles slate at No.2 and a 21-6 mark overall. This spring, Patterson also will earn his second straight Academic All-OAC accolade.
Harris was named to was selected to the first-team for the first time and it marked his second overall All-OAC selection. He was a second-team selection a year ago. Harris had an 18-6 overall singles mark, including a 16-2 slate at No.2 in dual matches. He combined with Ganim for a 22-5 record at No.1 doubles.
Ganim, who carries a 3.659 grade average in business and finance, earns his first All-OAC selection as he was named to the second-team. He had a 20-4 overall singles record, including a 16-1 mark at No.3 in dual matches.
The BW men's tennis team compiled a 19-4 record this spring and placed second at the OAC Tournament. The Yellow Jackets have a 71-6 record over the last three seasons and advanced to the second round of the NCAA Tournament in 2012.
