Sophomore Doug Ganim Named OAC Men's Tennis Player of the Week

BEREA, Ohio -- Baldwin Wallace University sophomore number three singles standout Doug Ganim (Westerville/Olentangy Orange) has been named as the Ohio Athletic Conference Men's Tennis Player for his efforts during the Week of March 9-16, 2014.  

On the trip to Hilton Head, Ganim had a 6-0 singles and 6-0 doubles record as the Yellow Jackets won five of six dual matches to improve to 11-1 overall this season and 34-2 in his two-year career. 

This season, he has a team-leading 13 singles wins and a 13-2 record and teams with fellow sophomore Peter Harris (Akron/Revere) as the No.1 doubles team for a 13-3 slate.  During his two-year career, Ganim has compiled a 35-8 singles and 34-12 doubles mark.

BW returns to action this Saturday, March 22 when it opens OAC play against Capital University at the "Pop" Collins Courts in Berea at 1:00 p.m.
