NORTH RIDGEVILLE, Ohio -- The Baldwin Wallace University men's tennis team remained unbeaten and defeated visiting Penn State Behrend (Pa.) University, 9-0, today at the North Ridge Racquet Club in its final tune-up before next week's annual Spring Break Trip to Hilton Head, South Carolina.
 
The Yellow Jackets, now a perfect 6-0 overall, led 3-0 after doubles play as the number one tandem of senior Zach Elbin (Findlay) and sophomore Kevin Fredrick (Archbold), 8-2. No. 2 duo of freshman Brian Carano (Akron/ Ellet) and junior Letch Radomirov ( Fairview Park / Fairview ) and 8-0. No.3 tandem of freshman Brandon Caynor (Norton) and senior Dan Rowsey  (Ashland) won 8-1.
 
In singles action, Radomirov won by scores of 6-0 and 6-3. Carano won at No. 2 with scores of 6-1 and 6-0. Fredrick won at No.3 by the scores of 6-1 and 6-0. Rowsey won at No.4 by the scores of 6-0 and 6-0. Caynor won at No.5 with scores of 6-1 and 6-2. Elbin won at No.6 by the scores of 6-1 and 6-1.

In Hilton Head, S.C. from March 9-15, the Yellow Jackets will play six matches in five days. BW plays Nazareth (N.Y.) on Sunday, March 9 at 8:30 a.m. in its first match. BW opens Ohio Athletic Conference play on Saturday, March 22 when it hosts Capital University at the "Pop" Collins Courts in Berea at 1:00 p.m.
 
BW's 6-0 record this season increases its three-season mark to 58-2 overall in dual matches. In 2011-2012, BW set a single-season school record with 29 victories, had a 29-1 record, won the 2012 Ohio Athletic Conference regular season (9-0) and tournaments titles and advanced to the second round of the NCAA Division III National Tournament. Last season, the Jackets produced a 23-1 record.
