ACADEMIC MAJOR: Criminal Justice

ACADEMIC HONORS:  As a freshman in 2011-12, Kyle was named as an ITA (Intercollegiate Tennis Association) Scholar-Athlete. He maintained a perfect 4.0 grade point average as a freshman and made the Dean's List.  As a sophomore in 2012-2013, Kyle became a Jacket Scholar recipient and received Academic All-Ohio Athletic Conference honors.

ATHLETIC HONORS:  As a freshman in 2011-2012 and sophomore in 2012-2013, Kyle earned All-Ohio Athletic Conference honors.

TENNIS INFORMATION:  As a senior in 2014-2015, Kyle will play in his fourth season of tennis and will look to earn his fourth varsity letter. He is one of the top scholar-athletes in NCAA Division III men's tennis.

As a freshman in 2011-2012, Kyle competed in his first season of tennis and earned his first varsity letter. Kyle had a 27-3 singles and 20-6 in doubles record for a combined mark of 47-9. For his efforts, Kyle was a second-team All-OAC selection and was an OAC Player of the Week on April 23, 2012. Academically, Kyle maintained a perfect 4.0 grade point average as a freshman and earn ITA (Intercollegiate Tennis Association) Scholar-Athlete honors. B-W finished its season with a school-record 29 victories, a 29-1 overall record, won the OAC regular season (9-0) and OAC Tournament titles, and advanced to the second round of the 2012 NCAA Division III National Tournament.

As a sophomore in 2012-2013, Kyle played his second season of tennis and earned his second varsity letter. Kyle had a record 24-5 in singles play and 20-8 in doubles play for an overall record of 44-13. Individually, Kyle earned second-team All-OAC honors and was tabbed Academic All-OAC. B-W  finished with a 23-1 overall record and 8-1 in the OAC.

As a junior in 2013-2014, Kyle competed in his third season of tennis and earned his third varsity letter letter. Kyle finished with a singles reord of 14-8 and went 5-2 in the conference. In doubles play, patterson combined for a record of 21-5 and helped lead BW to an overall record of 19-4 and helped them place 2nd in the OAC.

HOMETOWN & HIGH SCHOOL INFORMATION:   Kyle Patterson grew up in Wooster, Ohio and graduated from Triway High School. He played three seasons of tennis (missed his junior season) and earned three varsity letters. He also played basketball for two seasons (freshman year and JV as a sophomore).

In tennis, Kyle was named All-Northeast Conference all three seasons and received the Wooster Triway H.S. Most Outstanding Player award in 2008, 2009 and 2011.

Academically, Kyle was a member of the Honor Roll all four years.
