BEREA, OHIO -- The Baldwin Wallace University women's track and field team placed third and the men were fourth at the annual Ohio Athletic Conference Split Squad/OAC East Meet at Don Drumm Stadium on the campus of Marietta College.  This is the third week of spring competition for the Yellow Jackets.

The BW women scored 140 points to place third and the men had 105 to finish fourth. Both teams would have done significantly better, but senior decathlete Steve Price (North Olmsted) and junior heptathlete Emily Oliver (Waynesburg/ Sandy Valley) did not accompany the teams to Marietta. Instead the duo competed in a multi-event meet at Liberty (Va.) University and each qualified for the 2010 NCAA Division III National Championship Meet that will be held at BW from May 27-29.  You can read more about Price and Oliver'sperformance at http://www.bw.edu/athletics/otf/sched/atliberty2/ .
