BEREA, Ohio – Six Baldwin Wallace University women's soccer players have been recognized by the Ohio Collegiate Soccer Association (OCSA) for their efforts on the field and in the classroom.

Senior All-OAC midfielder Kenna Poptic (Dublin/Jerome), junior All-OAC defender Morgan Gray (Dublin/Scioto), and sophomore All-OAC and Academic All-OAC midfielder Maddie Farrell (Macomb, Mich./Dakota) have all landed on the OCSA's 2019 All-Ohio team, with Poptic appearing on its second team and both Gray and Farrell emerging on its third team. Meanwhile, junior All-OAC and Academic All-OAC forward Kayla Webb (Brunswick), junior Academic All-OAC defender Josie Fenn (Pittsburgh, Pa./Shaler Area), and senior Academic All-OAC goalkeeper Emma Bruno (Pittsburgh, Pa./Bethel Park) have landed on the OCSA's 2019 Academic All-Ohio first, second, and third teams, respectively.

Poptic's first career OCSA All-Ohio honor comes following a season that saw her lead the team in assists and points with career-highs of 10 and 16, respectively. She also scored a career-best three goals, two of which being game-winners. Her assists total also tied her for second place in the OAC. Poptic completes her four-year career at BW with six goals and 15 assists, for 27 points in 74 games played. The senior pre-physical therapy major earned her fourth varsity letter this past fall.

Gray's first career OCSA All-Ohio accolade showcases a season in which she accumulated career-highs of 21 games played, and seven shots on goal. She also matched her career-best totals of one season prior, with three goals and six points in 2019. Gray, along with Poptic, helped anchor a BW defense that earned seven shutouts, and limited opponents to 1.76 goals and 12.3 shots per game. The junior criminal justice major earned her third varsity letter this past fall.

Farrell's first career OCSA All-Ohio award stems from a career-best and team-leading five goals on the year. She earned career-highs in points and games played with 10 and 21, respectively, and also led the team with 21 shots on goal. Furthermore, Farrell's game-winning goal against Nazareth (N.Y.) College with 15 seconds remaining in the Herb Lauffer Memorial Tournament Championship Game propelled her to being named the tournament's Most Valuable Player. The Dean's List student and business major earned her second varsity letter this past fall.

Webb, who attains her first career OSCA Academic All-Ohio honor, is an early childhood education major who carries 3.953 GPA. She is a Dean's List student and both an All-OAC and Academic All-OAC selection. For her career, Webb has appeared in 59 games and has scored eight goals, including two game winners, for 16 points. She also earned her third varsity letter this past fall.

Fenn, who collects her first career OSCA Academic All-Ohio accolade, is a pre-physical therapy major who carries a 4.0 GPA. A Dean's List student and a College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) Academic All-District first-team, Fenn has appeared in 49 games in her three-year career as a member of the defensive core. She also earned her third varsity letter this past fall.

Bruno, who earns first career OSCA Academic All-Ohio award, is a marketing major who carries a 3.796 GPA. Academically, she is a Dean's List student, a Jacket Scholar, a member of the Honors Program and a member of the Digital Marketing Clinic. A three-time OAC Defensive Player of the Week, Bruno has appeared in career 56 games and has recorded 32 victories, 19 shutouts, and a 1.38 goals against average. She also earned her fourth varsity letter this past fall.

BW finished the 2019 campaign with an 11-9-1 record and a 4-4-1 mark in conference play, advancing to the OAC Tournament for the seventh consecutive season.
