11 Women's Soccer Student-Athletes Named to the Academic All-OAC Team

AUSTINTOWN, Ohio - Eleven Baldwin Wallace University women's soccer student-athletes have landed on the 2018 Academic All-Ohio Athletic Conference team.

In order to be selected to the Academic All-OAC team, a student-athlete must be a sophomore or higher in class standing, appeared in at least one varsity match and have at least a 3.5 cumulative GPA. 

Senior goalkeeper Emma Bruno (Pittsburgh, Pa./Bethel Park), junior defender Josie Fenn (Pittsburgh, Pa./Shaler Area), junior forward Kortney Marzenski (Parma/Valley Forge), junior midfielder Kaitlin McGuire (Gibsonia, Pa./Pine-Richland), junior All-OAC midfielder Kayla Webb (Brunswick), sophomore defender Amanda Donahue (Morrow/Cincinnati Hills Christian Academy), sophomore midfieler Maddie Farrell (Macomb, Mich./Dakota), sophomore defender Caitlin Jurcago (Strongsville), sophomore midfielder Bella Reigle (Niles/McKinley), sophomore forward Michelina Rush (North Huntington, Pa./Norwin), and sophomore defender Aundrea Scattino (Girard/Niles McKinley) are 11 of 57 Yellow Jacket student-athletes to be recognized this fall.

Bruno, who earns her third consecutive Academic All-OAC award, is a marketing major who carries a 3.796 GPA. Academically, she is a Dean's List student, a Jacket Scholar, a member of the Honors Program and a member of the Digital Marketing Clinic. A three-time OAC Defensive Player of the Week, Bruno has appeared in 56 games and has recorded 32 victories, 19 shutouts and 1.38 goals against average.

Fenn, who collects her second consecutive Academic All-OAC accolade, is a pre-physical therapy major who carries a 4.0 GPA. A Dean's List student and a College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) Academic All-District first-team, Fenn has appeared in 49 games in her three-year career as a member of the defense.

Marzenski, who garners her second consecutive Academic All-OAC honor, is an early childhood education major who carries a 3.701 GPA. A Dean's List student and Jacket Scholar, Marzenski has appeared in 42 matches and recorded three goals for six points.

McGuire, who earns her second consecutive Academic All-OAC award, is a communications sciences and disorders major who carries a 3.97 GPA. A Dean's List student and Jacket Scholar, McGuire has appeared in 50 games and recorded four goals for eight points.

Webb, who attains her second consecutive Academic All-OAC honor, is an early childhood education major who carries 3.953 GPA. She is a Dean's List student off the field and an All-OAC selection and Ohio Collegiate Soccer Association (OCSA) on the field. For her career, Webb has appeared in 59 games and has scored eight goals, including two game winners, for 16 points.

Donahue, who earns her first career Academic All-OAC accolade, is a public health major who carries a 3.911 GPA. She is a Dean's List student. For her career, Donahue has appeared in 35 matches in her two-year career as a member of the defense.

Farrell, who acquires her first career Academic All-OAC honor, is a business administration major who carries a 3.666 GPA. An All-OAC performer and tournament Most Valuable Player on the field, Farrell is also a Dean's List student and Jacket Scholar off the field. For her career she has appeared in 34 matches and recorded five goals, including two game winners, for 10 points.

Jurcago, who earns her first career Academic All-OAC award, is an environmental sciences major who carries a 4.0 GPA. A Dean's List student, Jurcago has appeared in 32 games for her career as a member of the defense.

Reigle, who garners her first career Academic All-OAC accolade, is an exercise science major who carries a 3.574 GPA. She is a Dean's List student off the field. For her career, Reigle has appeared in 31 matches as a member of the midfield.

Rush, who earns her first career Academic All-OAC honor, is a biology major who carries a 3.738 GPA. She is a Dean's List student and Jacket Scholar off the field. For her career, Rush has appeared in 21 games and has recorded three goals for seven points.

Scattino, who collects her first career Academic All-OAC award, is a pre-physical therapy major who carries a 3.667 GPA. She is a Dean's List student and Jacket Scholar off the field. For her career, Scattino has appeared in 37 matches as a member of the defense.
