AUSTINTOWN, Ohio – Three Baldwin Wallace women's soccer players highlight this season's All-Ohio Athletic Conference selections.

Senior defender Kenna Poptic (Dublin/Jerome) was voted to its first-team for the first time in her career. Along with Poptic, sophomore midfielder Maddie Farrell (Macomb, Mich./Dakota) also earns her first All-OAC honor by appearing on its second team, and junior defender Morgan Gray (Dublin/Scioto) garners her second career All-OAC honorable mention.

Poptic's first-team selection comes following a season that saw her lead the team in assists and points with career-highs of 10 and 16, respectively. She also scored a career-best three goals, two of which being game-winners. Her assists total also tied her for second place in the OAC. Poptic completes her four-year career at BW with six goals and 15 assists, for 27 points in 74 games played. The senior pre-physical therapy major will earn her fourth varsity letter this fall.

Farrell's first All-OAC honor stems from a career-best and team-leading five goals on the year. She earned career-highs in points and games played with 10 and 21, respectively, and also led the team with 21 shots on goal. Furthermore, Farrell's game-winning goal against Nazareth (N.Y.) College with 15 seconds remaining in the Herb Lauffer Memorial Tournament Championship Game, propelled her to being named the tournament's Most Valuable Player. The Dean's List student and business major will earn her second varsity letter this fall.

Gray's second straight All-OAC honorable mention showcases a season in which she accumulated career-highs of 21 games played, and seven shots on goal. She also matched her career-best totals of one season prior, with three goals and six points in 2019. Gray, along with Poptic, helped anchor a BW defense that earned seven shutouts, and limited opponents to 1.76 goals and 12.3 shots per game. The junior criminal justice major will earn her third varsity letter this fall.

BW finished the 2019 campaign with an 11-9-1 overall record and 4-4-1 record within the OAC, advancing to the OAC Tournament for the seventh consecutive season.
