Rohrbach Garners First Career OAC Weekly Honor

BEREA, OHIO --  Baldwin Wallace University senior forward Lexi Rohrbach (Tiffin/Ciolumbian) is this week's Ohio Athletic Conference Women's Basketball Player of the Week.  This marks the first time in her career that she has earned the weekly honor.

Rohrbach earned her honor for scoring 37 points and grabbing 19 rebounds as the Yellow Jackets beat both the University of Mount Union (73-52) and Waynesburg, Pa. University (74-62) to improve to 8-2 overall and run their winning streak to three straight.

In the two games, Rohrbach made 13 of 22 shots from the floor for 59.1 percent and 11 of 13 foul shots for 84.43%.  She also had a steal and a blocked shot. She had 23 points and seven rebounds in 28 minutes versus the Purple Raiders and 14 points and a game-high 12 rebounds versus Waynesburg.  Her 23 points versus Mount Union was one off her career-high as were her 12 rebounds against Waynesburg.

This season, Rohrbach is second on the team in scoring at 11.2 points and first with 7.2 rebounds-per-game.  She also has 601 career points, 484 rebounds and 39 blocked shots.

Rohrbach and the Yellow Jackets are now idle until Saturday, January 4 when they travel to Westerville, Ohio to resume Ohio Athletic Conference play against the Otterbein Cardinals in the Rike Center at 3:00 p.m.
