AUSTINTOWN, Ohio – Baldwin Wallace University junior freestyler Matthew Butt (Westfield Center/Cloverleaf) was named to the Academic All-Ohio Athletic Conference team for the second straight season.
In order to be selected to the Academic All-OAC team, a student-athlete must be a sophomore or higher in class standing, maintain varsity status and have at least a 3.5 cumulative GPA.
Butt, who is one of the 26 Yellow Jacket student-athletes to be recognized this winter, is a chemistry major that carries a 3.98 grade point average. He is a Dean's List student and a member of the Alpha Lambda Delta Honor Society.
In the pool, Butt is a member of the school-record 200-yard medley, 400-yard medley relay and the 800-yard freestyle relay teams.
