Lewis Garners Third Career OAC Men’s Swimming Weekly Accolade

AUSTINTOWN, Ohio – For the third time in his career, Baldwin Wallace University sophomore All-Ohio Athletic Conference performer Michael Lewis (Lancaster) has been named the OAC Men's Swimmer of the Week.

Lewis won a pair of events and was a member of one winning relay team to lead BW to a 111-66 over Buffalo State (N.Y.) University last week at the Arlington Park Aquatic Center in Sarasota, Florida during its annual winter break training trip. 

He won the 100-yard breaststroke and the 100-yard individual medley in times of 1:04.31 and 56.00 seconds, respectively.  Lewis also swam the second leg on the winning 200-medley relay in a time of 1:50.33. 

For his career, Lewis is an All-OAC performer in the 200-yard individual medley and holds two BW Natatorium records and one school record.

The Yellow Jackets return to action on Friday, January 17 when they host an OAC dual meet against Ohio Northern University in the BW Natatorium inside the Lou Higgins Center at 6 p.m.  Fans can follow all of the action at http://bit.ly/2fMKFA3.
