AUSTINTOWN, Ohio – Baldwin Wallace University sophomore freestyler Matthew Butt (Westfield Center/Cloverleaf) has landed on the Academic All-Ohio Athletic Conference team.
In order to be selected to the Academic All-OAC team, a student-athlete must be a sophomore or higher in class standing, maintain varsity status and have at least a 3.5 cumulative GPA.
Butt is one of the 23 Yellow Jacket student-athletes to be recognized this winter. A chemistry major who carries a 3.97 GPA, he earns his first career Academic All-OAC honor. Butt is a Dean's List student and a member of the Alpha Lambda Delta Honor Society. In the pool, he is a member of the school-record 400-yard medley relay team.
