Swimming and Diving Unveils 2018-19 Schedule

BEREA, Ohio- Both the Baldwin Wallace University men's and women's Swimming and Diving Teams, led by eighth-year Head Coach Laura Wolff-Demaline, will open up the 2018-19 season by competing in the Cleveland State Relays on September 29.

The annual Brown and Gold Intrasquad Meet will be held on Saturday, October 6.

BW will remain on the road three straight meets, traveling to Delaware to take part in a dual meet with Ohio Wesleyan University and Thomas More on October 19. They will then take on Wilmington in their first conference meet of the year on October 20 and wrap it up on at Bethany (W.Va.) College on Saturday, October 26.

The Yellow Jackets will then host three consecutive meets, the first coming against Manchester (Ind.) in their home-opener on November 3 at 1 p.m. BW will play host to conference foe Mount Union University on November 9 and Penn State (Pa.) Behrend on November 10. All three meets will take place in the BW Natatorium.

A trip to Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania to compete in the Diamond City Invitational on November 17-18 will give the Jackets their first tournament action of the year. The team will then travel to Mesa, Arizona for a week long winter training trip that will take place December 29-January 6.

BW will finish off regular season conference action with back-to-back meets, traveling to Ohio Northern University on January 18 and hosting cross-town rival John Carroll University on January 19.

The Jackets will then travel to Franciscan University to take place in a dual meet with Pitt-Bradford (Pa.) on January 26 and then will finish off regular season action with the men's squad taking on Case Western Reserve University and the women's team competing in a dual meet with Ursuline University and Case Western Reserve University on February 2.

The OAC Championships will once again be hosted by the University of Akron at Ocasek Natatorium on February 14-16.

The season will wrap up with the NCAA Division III National Championships on March 20-23 in Greensboro, N.C. at the Greensboro Aquatic Center.
