Men’s Soccer Falls to Otterbein

WESTERVILLE, Ohio – The Baldwin Wallace University men's soccer team fell to Otterbein University in an Ohio Athletic Conference match by a final score of 4-0 at Memorial Stadium. 

BW Leaders (11-4-2, 2-4-1 OAC)

  • Sophomore goalkeeper Zoltan Nagy (Lakewood/St. Edward) recorded 9 saves in the match. 

Otterbein Leaders (9-2-3, 3-1-3 OAC)

  • Will Isaac had two goals in the match

First Half (Otterbein 1-0)

  • At 7:07, Isaac scored the first goal for Otterbein when he hit the ball low into the net after receiving a pass from Matt Hinkle.  
  • Otterbein earned three corner kick opportunities in the half. 

Second Half (Otterbein 4-0)

  • Otterbein scored their second goal when Isaac shot the ball low into the right corner of the net. 
  • A third goal came for Otterbein after Hayden Vu took a shot that found the upper left corner of the net at the 81:11 mark. 
  • With less than five minutes left in the match, Coby Stover scored a fourth goal for the Cardinals. 

The Yellow Jackets are back in action on Wednesday, October 26th when they host OAC opponent Ohio Northern University. The match begins at 7:00 p.m. on the Tressel Field inside George Finnie Stadium.
