ACADEMIC MAJOR:   Education

BW ATHLETICS INFORMATION:  Cameron "Cam" Kuhn played his second season of basketball at Baldwin Wallace University in 2015-2016. The two-time Ohio Athletic Conference player and the 2015 OAC Co-Freshman of the Year earned his second varsity letter.

SINGLE-SEASON SCHOOL-RECORDS:  Cam scored a single-game school-record 51 points in a 110-109 double overtime loss at the University of Mount Union on December 2, 2015. He also tied the single-game record of nine three-pointers. The 51 points bested the previous mark of 47 points by BW Hall of Famer Bob Walters '64 versus St. Vincent (Pa.) College in 1961. His nine three-pointers tied a record by Kevin Krakowiak '14. Cam made a single-game school-record 15 of 15 foul shots in an 80-69 win at Otterbein University on Dec. 5, 2015.

ATHLETICS HONORS:  As a freshman in 2014-2015, Cam was an honorable mention All-OAC selection and the OAC Co-Freshman of the Year.  He also named as the OAC Men's Basketball Player of the Week on January 12, 2015.

As a sophomore in 2015-2016, Cam was a first-team All-OAC selection. He also was named as the Most Valuable Player at the Medaille (N.Y.) College Tournament and to the all-tournament team at the Defiance Tournament. Cam was named as the OAC Men's Basketball Player of the Week and to the D3hoops.com Division III National Team of the Week on December 7-8, 2015. He earned his second OAC Men's Basketball Player of the Week award this season and third overall on February 8, 2016. Cam also was named to the 2016 OAC Tournament all-tournament team.

GENERAL BASKETBALL INFORMATION:  As a freshman in 2014-2015, Cam played his first season of basketball and earned his first varsity letter. He was the OAC Co-Freshman of the Year and an honorable mention All-OAC selection. Cam played in all 27 games, including 23 starts, and averaged 14.0 points (second) and 3.0 rebounds-per-game (tied for fourth). He also had 57 assists, 24 steals and 21 three-pointers. He shot an OAC-leading 89.1% of his foul shots (106 of 119). At one point, he made 37 straight foul shots. Cam was the OAC Men's Basketball Player of the Week on January 12 for his efforts in wins versus Fisher (Mass.) College, Pine Manor (Mass.) College and Capital University. He scored a season-high 25 points in a 111-79 win versus Pine Manor on January 6, 2015. BW finished 18-9 overall.

As a sophomore in 2015-2016, Cam played his second season of basketball and earned his second letter. He was a first-team All-OAC selection. Cam played in and started all 27 games, was first on the team and second in the OAC with 21.5 ppg., grabbed a career-high 4.1 rpg. and made a team-high 67 three-pointers. He also had career-highs of 58 assists and five blcked shots. In addition, Cam was named as the Most Valuable Player at the Medaille, N.Y. College Tournament on Nov. 20-21 and also to the all-tournament team at the Defiance Tournament on Dec. 29-30 and to the all-tournament team at the 2016 OAC Tournament. He scored a single-game school-record 51 points, including a single-game record nine three-pointers, at the University of Mount Union on Dec. 2, 2015 (see more above). Cam was 17 of 26 from the floor, 9 of 13 from three-point range and 8 of 9 from the foul line for his 51 points. Cam set a single-game record above). He also made a single-game school-record 15 of 15 foul shots in an 80-69 win at Otterbein University on Dec. 5, 2015. For his efforts versus Mt. Union and Otterbein, Cam was named as the OAC Men's Basketball Player of the Week and to the D3hoops.com Division III National Team of the Week (Dec. 7-8, 2015). He also was named OAC Men's Basketball Player of the Week (Feb. 8, 2016).

HOMETOWN & HIGH SCHOOL INFORMATION:   Cam Kuhn grew up in Vermilion, Ohio and graduated from Vermilion High School.

Cam played basketball for four years and eaned four varsity letters.

As a sophomore in 2011-2012, Cam earned first-team All-West Shore Conference and first-team All-Lorain County honors. As a junior in 2012-2013, he was the Vermilion H.S. Most Valuable Offensive Player, earned first-team All-WSC and first-team All-Lorain County honors, was the Lorain County Player of the Year in Division II and earned Special Mention All-Ohio honors. As a senior in 2013-2014, Cam was the Vermilion H.S. Most Valuable Offensive Player, earned first-team All-WSC and first-team All-Lorain County honors, was the Lorain County POY for Division II and the Lorain County "Mr. Basketball" Award winner and received Special Mention All-Ohio honors.

As both a junior and senior, Cam led Lorain County in scoring. He had 1,577 career points and averaged 22.4 points, 5.3 rebounds and 3.8 assists-per-game.

Academically, Cam was an Honor Roll student and a member of the LInk Crew, Military Care Packages and Big Brothers & Big Sisters.
