ACADEMIC MAJOR:  Finance

BW ATHLETICS INFORMATION:   Zack Brandy played his third season of men's basketball at Baldwin Wallace University in 2015-2016. The two-time Academic All-Ohio Athletic Conference student-athlete earned his third varsity letter.

ACADEMIC INFORMATIONS:   Zack carries a 3.755 grade point average, is a Dean's List student and a member of the Alpha Lambda and Chi Sigma Alpha honor societies.

ACADEMIC ALL-OAC HONORS:   As a sophomore in 2014-2015 and junior in 2015-2016, he earned Academic All-Ohio Athletic Conference honors and is a Dean's List student.

GENERAL BASKETBALL  INFORMATION:   As a freshman in 2013-2014, Zach played his first season of basketball and earned his first varsity letter. He saw action in 27 games, including four starts, and averaged 2.7 points and 1.1 rebounds-per-game. He also had 20 assists, nine steals and eight three-pointers.  He had a season-high seven points versus Heidelberg University on Jan. 22, 2014.  BW finished 14-13 overall.

As a sophomore in 2014-2015, Zach played his second season of basketball and earned his second letter. He mostly came off the bench to play back up at point guard. He played in all 27 games, including four starts, and averaged 4.2 ppg. and 1.4 rpg. with 26 assists, 12 steals and eight three-pointers. Zack scored a career-high 15 points against Ohio Northern University on Feb. 18, 2015. He also earned Academic All-OAC honors. BW finished 18-9 overall.

As a junior in 2015-2016, Zach played his third season of basketball and earned his third letter. He played in all 27 games, including starting the final 15 games of the season, and averaged 7.3 ppg. and 2.9 rpg. He also had 49 assists, 25 three-pointers, 15 steals and one blocked shot. He had a season-high 14 points in a 89-79 victory against Medaille (N.Y.) in the championship game of the Medaille Tournament on November 21, 2015. Zack also earned Academic All-OAC honors for the second straight season. BW finished 16-11 overall.

FAMILY CONNECTION:  Zack's older brother, Jake Brandy '14, played tight end on the football team (2010-2013). He also was an Academic All-OAC student-athlete.

HOMETOWN & HIGH SCHOOL INFORMATION:  Zack grew up in Hudson, Ohio and graduated from Hudson High School.

Zack played four years of football and earned three varsity letters and four seasons of basketball and earned three letters.

In basketball, Zack was a first-team All-Northeast Ohio Conference, first-team All-Inland District, Special Mention All-Ohio and Academic All-Ohio.

Academically, Zack was a member of the National Honor Society and received the Hudson H.S. Marion Albee Award for Character.
