BEREA, Ohio -- Two Baldwin Wallace University men's basketball student-athletes, sophomore guard Cam Kuhn (Vermilion) and sophomore power forward Jake Fetherolf (Norwalk), have been named to the 2016 All-Ohio Athletic Conference team by the OAC Coaches. Kuhn is a repeat award winner.
Kuhn was second in the OAC in scoring at 21.5 points-per-game and is a first-team selection this year. He was an honorable mention pick a year ago when he also was named as the Co-Freshman of the Year. He grabbed 4.1 rebounds-per-game and had a team-leading 67 three-pointers. Kuhn also had 58 assists, 23 steals and five blocked shots. He shot 43.3 percent from the floor (184-of-426), including 41.1 from three-point range (67 of 163), and 84.8 from the foul line (146-of-171).
Kuhn scored a BW single-game record 51 points earlier this season in a game at the University of Mount Union and ended his second season at BW with 957 career points. He also had a career-high 10 rebounds on two separate occasions, and was named to last week's OAC Tournament all-tournament team.
Fetherolf was second on the team with 11.4 ppg., led BW and the OAC in rebounding with 9.9 rpg. and had a team-high 34 blocked shots and shot 57.1% from the floor (123-of-219). He also had 12 double-figure scoring and rebounding games this season with 26 assists, 24 steals and nine three-pointers.
A year ago, Fetherolf was selected to the OAC Tournament all-tournament team and will enter his junior season with 533 career points, 465 rebounds and 51 blocked shots. He scored a career-high 30 points against Muskingum University on January 23, 2016 and had a career-high 17 rebounds versus Otterbein University on December 5, 2015.
The Yellow Jackets finished 16-11 overall and fourth in the OAC with a 10-8 mark. BW now has five straight winning seasons and six in the last seven years.
