BEREA, Ohio -- Baldwin Wallace sophomore All-Ohio Athletic Conference guard Cam Kuhn (Vermilion) has been named as the OAC Men's Basketball Player of the Week for his efforts in two BW victories last week.
Kuhn, who earns his third career weekly honor, scored 52 points and had three assists, two rebounds and a steal. He made 21 of 34 floor shots for 61.8 percent, including 6 of 12 from three-point range, and 4 of 6 foul shots.
Kuhn, who leads the OAC in scoring at 22.0 points-per-game, scored 25 points in a 77-74 win at Heidelberg University on February 3 and had 27 points in an 88-64 conquest of Otterbein University on February 6. He also was named as the Al Sirat Player of the Game versus Otterbein.
In addition to his 22.0 ppg., he is grabbing 3.8 rebounds-per-game and tops the team with 56 three-pointers and 16 steals. He also is second with 51 assists.
The Yellow Jackets are back in action on Wednesday, February 10 when they travel to University Heights to play OAC and Cleveland cross-town rival and No.4-ranked John Carroll University in the Tony DeCarlo Varsity Center at 7 p.m.
