SPORTS PLAYED AT BW (YEARS AND LETTERS WON): As a sophomore in 2011, Michael competed in his second season of football and earned his first varsity letter for his efforts.

GENERAL FOOTBALL INFORMATION: Michael has had a solid football career thus in his first two years. B-W has recorded a 15-5 record during his two seasons in the Brown & Gold. He earned his first varsity letter as a sophomore after spending his freshman season on the junior varsity. For his career, Michael has recorded 17 career tackles, including nine solo, and one pass deflection.

As a freshman in 2010, Michael  played in his first season of football and saw playing time on the junior varsity squad as a linebacker. For his efforts, Michael earned a certificate of participation.                  
As a sophomore in 2011, Michael competed in his second season of football and eanred his first varsity letter.  Michael played in all 10 games, making 17 tackles, including nine unassisted. He also recorded one pass deflection. Michael helped the Yellow Jackets finish with an overall record of 8-2.

HIGH SCHOOL SPORTS PLAYED (YEARS & LETTERS EARNED): Michael played four years of football and earned three varsity letters.  

HIGH SCHOOL HONORS, SPECIFY SPORT & YEAR: (ALL-CONFERENCE, DISTRICT,  ETC.): In football as a senior, Michael was named to the All-American Conference team, the All-Northeast Ohio team, and the All-Ohio team. He was the County Defensive Co-Captain and a McDonald's McScholar Athlete. Michael was also awarded the Denny's Player-of-the-Game (week five vs. Niles), and he was a Trumbull County Player-of-the-Year nominee.
