SPORTS PLAYED AT BW (YEARS AND LETTERS WON): As a freshman in 2011, Jon competed in his first season of football and received a certifcate of participation for his efforts.

GENERAL FOOTBALL INFORMATION: Jon is off to a solid start to his football career thus far. B-W has recorded an 8-2 record during his first season in the Brown & Gold. He saw time on the junior varsity as a freshman, but will compete for starting job as a linebacker in the future. 

As a freshman in 2011, Jon competed in his first season of football and saw playing time at linebacker on the junior varsity squad.

HIGH SCHOOL SPORTS PLAYED (YEARS & LETTERS EARNED): Jon played four years of football, basketball and baseball, and earned four varsity letters in each sport.

HIGH SCHOOL HONORS, SPECIFY SPORT & YEAR: (ALL-CONFERENCE, DISTRICT,  ETC.): Jon recieved multiple accolades in football throughout his career at Black River. Jon was a three-time Patriot Athletic Conference first-team performer. Following his junior and senior seasons, Jon was named to the A-Medina County first-team and to the All-Inland District first-team both years. Jon recorded his best season statistically in 2009 as a junior when he recored 120 tackles. That great season led to him being named the 2009 Black River Athlete-of-the-Year by the Medina-Post, and was also given the award of Linebacker-of-the-Year by his coaching staff. Following his senior year, Jon was named as the 2011 Medina Gazette Senior Athlete-of-the-Year.
