BALDWIN WALLACE INFORMATION:

SPORTS PLAYED AT BW (YEARS AND LETTERS WON):  As a junior in 2011, Ben competed in his third season of football and played in only one game due to a season-ending knee injury.  As a sophomore in 2010, Ben played in his second season of football and earned his first varsity letter.

ACADEMIC HONORS: Ben is a Jacket Scholar as he carries an outstanding 3.5 grade point average. During his junior year, Ben was inducted into the National College Athlete and Chi Alpha Sigma Honor Societies.

GENERAL FOOTBALL INFORMATION: Ben has had a solid football career thus far. B-W has recorded an 18-12 record during his first three seasons in the Brown & Gold. He has earned one varsity letter, recorded four career tackles, including one solo.

As a freshman in 2009, Ben played in his first season of football and saw playing time at linebacker for the junior varsity team.

As a sophmore in 2010, Ben  competed in his second season of football as a Yellow Jacket and saw action in nine games recording four tackles for the Yellow Jackets. For his efforts, Ben earned his first varsity letter.

As a junior in 2011, Ben competed in his third season of football. He played in only one game and injured his achilles, which resulted in season-ending surgery.

HIGH SCHOOL HONORS, SPECIFY SPORT & YEAR: (ALL-CONFERENCE, DISTRICT,  ETC.): As a senior in football, Ben was first-team All-Steel Valley Conference, first-team All-Trumbull County, honorable mention All-District, Warren G. Harding's Linebacker of the Year, Raider of the Year and won the Mollenkopf Award.
