Pinter Earns Seventh OAC Weekly Honor

BEREA, OHIO --  Baldwin Wallace University senior CAPITAL ONE Academic All-American and six-time NCAA Division III All-American diver Julie Pinter (Broadview Heights/ Brecksville-Broadview Heights) has been selected as this week's Ohio Athletic Conference Female Diver-of-the-Week.

Pinter, who earned the weekly honor for the seventh time in her outstanding career, captured both the one-meter voluntary and 1-meter optional events in a dual meet last Saturday against cross-town rival John Carroll University in the BW Natatorium inside the Lou Higgins Center.  She won the 1-meter voluntary event with 197.95 points and won the 1-meter optional event with 275.65 points

Pinter, the Division III national runner-up in the 1-meter event a year ago and who carries a 3.8 grade point average in communication disorders, ended her OAC career undefeated in both the one-meter and three-meter events.

The Yellow Jacket men and women compete in their final home meet of the season this Friday, February 1 versus cross-town and nonleague rival Case Western Reserve University in the BW Natatorium at 6:00 p.m.
