BW Complete Day Two of Ohio State Invitational

COLUMBUS, OHIO – The Baldwin Wallace University women's swimming and diving team competed on its second day of The Ohio State University Invitational Meet  at the McCorkle Aquatic Pavilion.

The Yellow Jacket women were led by were led by their 400-yard relay team and their 200-yard medley team as they both finished first. The 400-yard relay team consisted of sophomore Kayla Eyster (Canton, Mich. / Plymouth-Canton), junior Emma Gerdes (Avon), junior All-OAC competitors Angela Musille (Canton/ GlenOak), and freshman Chandler Ashbaugh (Napoleon) finished in a time of 3:46.31. The 200-yard medley relay team consisted of Gerdes, Musille, Ashbaugh, and Eyster finished with a time of 1:53.60.

In addition to the relay teams, Ashbaugh finished fourth in the 200-yard butterfly with a time of 2:21.51. Gerdes placed eighth overall in the 200-yard backstroke in a time of 2:11.08. Musille placed eighth overall in the 200-yard breaststroke in a time of 2:27.89 Round it out for the BW was freshman Contessa Elliott (Ypsilanti, Mich. / Ypsilanti) placed tenth in the 200-yard backstroke with a time of 2:28.46.  

This was their final meet of the season.
