ADA, Ohio – The Baldwin Wallace University women's soccer team fell to Ohio Northern University in an Ohio Athletic Conference match by final score of 1-0 inside Kerscher Stadium. 

Ohio Northern (6-3-2, 2-0 OAC) came out fast at the beginning of the match, getting a shot off in the first five minutes. ONU battled for opportunities on goal but BW's (5-7, 0-2 OAC) defense held strong. Neither side was able to put points on the board and the half ended 0-0. 

The Yellow Jackets got fired up in the second half, coming out with immediate pressure on ONU. BW made a few opportunities on goal, but none were successful. With 1:30 left in the half, the Polar Bears scored to win the game.  

In the net for the Yellow Jackets was freshman goalie Katie Scott (Lewis Center/Olentawho had five saves on the total six shots she faced. 

 BW is  back in action on Saturday, October 9th when it hosts Otterbein University for an OAC match at 2:00 P.M. on the Tressel Field inside George Finnie Stadium.
