WAYNESBURG, PA. – Senior two-time All-American 165-pounder Anthony Arroyo (Maumee) won his 100th career match as the No. 8-nationally ranked Baldwin Wallace University wrestling team won three dual matches at Waynesburg University Duals, including one against a nationally ranked opponent.

BW vs. Waynesburg (Pa.) 

BW (4-1, 1-1 OAC) claimed seven victories in the Waynesburg match with sophomore 125-pounder Chad Craft (Dayton/Northmont) getting the day started with a 3:46 pinfall. Junior All-OAC and Academic All-OAC 133-pounder Dante Ginnetti (Poland/Seminary) won his match with a 3:54 pinfall.
Sophomore 141-pounder Tanner McHugh (New Ringgold, Pa./Tamaqua) followed with an 11-3 major decision. Ranked fourth nationally in the 149 weight class, sophomore All-OAC 149-pounder Stanley Bleich (North Ridgeville/Elyria Catholic) earned a 12-3 major decision victory. Earning a 17-0 technical fall was senior two-time All-Ohio Athletic Conference 157-pounder Richie Burke (Ithaca, N.Y.). Pinning the next opponent in two minutes was number two nationally raked, Claiming the Yellow Jackets final points in the match was senior All-OAC 184-pounder Justin Ransom (Mason) with a 12-2 major decision, sealing the 35-12 victory.

BW vs. #19 Stevens Institute of Technology (N.J.)

The Yellow Jackets grabbed another seven victories in the match against the Stevens Institute Ducks, with Craft earning the first off a 10-0 major decision. Ginneti claimed a 9-3 decision in the following match, which was followed with a 6-0 decision from Bleich over the No.-3 ranked Brett Kaliner in the 149 weight class. The Ducks would tie the score at 10 after a major decision, but a 3:49 pinfall victory from Burke would put BW back on top by six. Arroyo and senior two-time All-OAC 197-pounder Zeckary Lehman (Akron/Revere) earned two more Yellow Jacket victories with pinfalls of 3:43 and 2:33, respectively. Two-time Academic All-OAC James Ritchie (Carlisle) closed out the 31-14 victory for BW after a 6-1 decision.

BW vs. Messiah (Pa.) College

Ginneti
grabbed the first victory for BW with a 4:07 pinfall and giving them a three-point lead. BW's next victory came from Burke off an 8-0 major decision. Arroyo won the next bout with a 6-2 decision to extend the lead to four earning his 100th victory at BW.  The Yellow Jackets ended the match after Ransom claimed a 7-5 decision, followed by a Lehman 1:20 pinfall, and a Ritchie 12-2 major decision, to seal a 26-12 victory, and their third for the day. 

BW will be back in action next weekend on Friday December, 14 when they travel to Kings Port, New York to square off against the U.S Merchant Marine (N.Y.) Academy. The match is set to start at 7 p.m.
